NY Officially Bans BPA in Chldren's Products

According to ASICentral.com, New York has signed on as the 7th state in the nation to band BPA in children's products. BPA, an abbreviation for Bisphenol-A, has been linked to both heart disease and cancer though studies at this time are still inconclusive. In the past several months, BPA has come under media spotlight in regards to the effects it causes in children. In January, the FDA recinded their previous statement and declared that there were concerns to be had regarding the chemical.
